Indonesia Wins Miss Tourism International
Indonesia awarded Best National Costum in the final event of Miss Tourism International (MTI) to 15th 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Saturday (31/12) night. The win was the first since held in 1994.
El General Manager John pageants, Vera Damayanti said on the sidelines of the event, which represented Princess Indonesia Tourism Indonesia 2011, Melissa Princess Background, wearing traditional costumes nuances of South Sumatra.
"Costume designers designed Deny Malik and Febry Collection," said Vera.
In the final event that MTI 2011, Melissa had entered into five major categories of Best Talent Show with Australia, China, Zimbabwe, and Mongolia.
Representatives from Australia (Myffanwy Scadden) brought ballet, representative of China (Zhu Zhu) plays a traditional stringed instrument), representative of Zimbabwe (Nadia Glori) brings traditional dance.
Representatives from Mongolia (Pangmadulam Sukhbaatar) Mongolian singing, while Melissa brought combination Balinese dance and West Java. But in these , an award given opportunity to the representative of Mongolia.
Representatives from Malaysia Aileen Gabriella Robinson was elected as Princess International Tourism 2011.
"Tact, beauty, and personality Aileen as expected in the promotion of tourism," said managing director and founder of D'Touch International, Datuk Danny Ooi.
Responding to the representative of Malaysia's victory, said Melissa deserves to be concerned MTI 2011 as totality and consistency in co-developing tourism.
According to Melissa, she will remain consistently helped Indonesia to promote tourism. "I'm going to Germany to participate in promoting culinary tourism and nature, I am proud of the potential of nature tourism in the Pacific are very good," said Melissa. (Ant / *)
