Pondering for a moment after reading these pusisi, welcome drink was ready on the table which is located beside the reception desk. At the entrance there are some officers who are ready to serve all the needs of visitors. Tour guides are also available for visitors who want a detailed explanation of Angel Island.

Wanting more freedom to enjoy asrinya island, we decided to surround the Angel Island without using a guide. After all, is available also a fairly complete brochure which contains about the island. Circled the island counter-clockwise direction, we crossed the bungalows are not so great, but it looks calm and beautiful. Because almost every corner of the mainland island Keben grow trees and several other trees that look very fertile. Keep walking into the fort yng we will find it is damaged, but still visible remnants of prowess. The building that serves as watchtowers and fortresses on Angel Island is circular with a diameter of 23 meters da walls 2.50 meters thick. On this wall there is a row of large windows and small. On the inside of this building there are seven ground floor rooms which are split by a brick wall skating.

One room serves as a closed yag ammunition storage area. In the middle there is a circular wall that serves as a repository of clean water for drinking and cooking for the soldiers on guard. Prior to archaeological excavations, building watchtowers on Angel Island was not seen his form for the entire building surfaces buried by debris and overgrown by huge trees and weeds. However after the research and excavations conducted by the Department of Museums and History of Jakarta, finally it can be shown  remnants of the tower building. This two-story control tower, this is evidenced by the presence of holes in the floor support beams. The rooms on the second floor there are seven pieces. The possibility of room on the second floor serves as a sleeping room as well as lookout.

The shape of this building watchtowers in Europe better known as Martello Tower. Which was first introduced by the French, or rather d island of Corsica in the 18th century. When a revolt on the island in 1794, they asked for British aid to help the attack. But for the conquest of Corsica, the British overwhelmed the fort seized in the Martello tower guarding the entrance to Point Fiorenzo bay. The fort was quite powerful in its defense, so that upon his return from the war, Britain established the same building in the country. Later this building was not only Britain but also imitated by the Dutch. No wonder the Dutch also founded the Martello tower in the colony such as Indonesia as part of its defense system. And one of them was set at Angel Island which traces still we can see until now. Besides, there is a type with Martello fort which lies north of Angel Island. Can be reached by boat approximately ten minutes.

On the north side of the fort is the northern coast as the northern boundary of Angel Island. The beach looks cleaner and more transparent than the south coast side. This is because the north coast of Jakarta Bay are not directly facing the already much polluted. Several small seating available overlooking the beach side of the beach. Sitting in a chair watching the blue sea, wind sea breeze is very pleasant. After being around the island, happy, fresh, tired and hunger blended together.
